Gates of "Last Light of Summer"

The gate was designed to be the entrance to autumn equinox festival “Drevernos Rudens Lygė”. The event begins with the dusk and the lights of the gate represent the last light of summer because when the event finishes it will be already autumn and lights will be off.

The shape is based on a Sun symbol scheme with an array of lights pointing to the people that will walk through them. For the next months, every day will have less light till winter solstice. Once that you go through the gate to celebrate the end of summer your eyes shall relax on the gloom of autumn and a kind path of fire torches will lead you to the celebration.
