"Where there’s a will there’s a way"

This installation talks about commitment, desire, and determination. It talks about the path that we all walk to reach our goals.

Every step and action is represented by one vertical wooden pole. They could seem unconnected, but every choice we make builds our own way forward to the future. And at the same time, it connects us to the past.

And just when the lights fade out and the darkness of silence surrounds us we feel lost. We cannot find the road. We all have been in that place at some period in our lives.

But the path is not outside, we are our own path. Because as an old proverb says “where there’s a will there’s a way”.

This is why, to understand where you are in the vastness of life’s choices, I invite people to light up each wooden pole with one memory. When you connect different actions and choices that you have made, a path is revealed in front of your eyes. Your life is your path and your path is your life.

"on hi ha voluntat, hi ha camí"

Aquesta instal·lació parla de compromís, desig i determinació. Parla del camí que tots recorrem per assolir els nostres objectius.

Cada pas, cada acció està representat per un pal de fusta vertical. Tot i que poden semblar sense connexió, cada elecció que anem fent construeix un tram més del nostre propi camí cap al futur. I, alhora, ens connecta amb el passat.

I, de vegades, quan les llums s’apaguen i la foscor del silenci ens envolta, ens sentim perduts. No podem trobar el camí. Tots hem viscut aquesta sensació en algun moment de les nostres vides.

Però el camí no és a fora, nosaltres som els nostres propis camins. Ja que, com diu un vell proverbi, “on hi ha voluntat hi ha camí”.

Per això, per entendre on som en la immensitat d’opcions que ens brinda la vida, us convido a il·luminar cada un dels pals de fusta amb un record. Quan connectem les diferents accions i eleccions que hem anat fent, un camí s’hi mostra davant dels nostres ulls. Perquè la vostra vida és el vostre camí i el vostre camí la vostra vida.
